The dashglobe is
made of three parts
(platform, base, and globe).
Stick the magnetic
platform on the dashboard.
Place the globe and
magnetic base on the platform.
Lift the globe off the base to carry or to operate the light by twisting the stem of the globe.
Slide the globe and base off the platform to completely remove.
Can the customer replace the photo inside the globe?
The globe is sealed, so the insert cannot be removed or replaced.
How many photos or images can be on an insert?
The insert has space for one to four photos or images.
Can the globe easily fall off the base or platform?
No. The product has magnets on the platform, base, and globe stem, giving it triple-magnetic strength.
Are the globes available in various sizes?
There is currently one size: 1.5 (diameter) x 2 (height) inches. Also, there is one base size to make it easy to interchange the globes.
Is the light from the globe safe while driving at night?
Yes. The light complies with vehicle regulations regarding interior ornaments and decorations. If the light interferes with your ability to drive safely, please leave it off.
What happens if the light accidentally gets pushed into the globe?
Because the globe is sealed, the lid can't be removed to fix it. The light and base will not be useful, but the globe can still be placed on any flat surface.
How long does the light stay on?
The light can last up to two hours, but the brightness will be restored after the light has been off for a short period of time.
Is the light easy to turn on and off?
Yes, twist the stem (light switch) clockwise to turn on, and counterclockwise to turn off.
What happens if the light stops working?
Twist counterclockwise and remove the stem to replace the batteries (type 3xLR41). The bulb is on top of the battery cell, so be careful when handling. The flat side of the bulb must be on the battery.
Are the globes good to use in the home?
Absolutely, they are great on countertops, nightstands, and work desks.
